Candidates must have a clear message that is consistent with the virtues of PORP’s platform.
Candidates must have issued at least five position statements on various topics. The more comprehensive their platform, the better.
If a candidate has any positions that are not in agreement with PORP’s, it will not disqualify endorsement if their position is reasonably and respectfully presented utilizing legitimate evidence or data.
If a candidate holds a clearly problematic position, PORP may inquire for clarification and/or reconsideration of their stance.
